Zoey’s Frozen (read: Elsa) Fifth Birthday Party
Whoever wrote Frozen is an actual genius because twelve years later, little girls everywhere are still absolutely obsessed. Including my daughter who was steadfast in her theme choice even after I offered a lot of different options that I was much more excited about. Sigh, you can’t win them all.
Despite the less than original theme, I decided to focus on the aspects that did excite me. And that was the “frozen” part.
I bought a snow cone machine which was somehow cheaper than renting one! Highly recommend, it worked great and we will be using it all summer! I rented a snow machine which was essentially suds but was SUCH a hit with everyone. And I hired a face painter (in lieu of party favors) and also a fun activity.
For the invitations I wanted to take a different approach than just Elsa smiling. So I drew Elsa from behind making “magic”.
