A fully cohesive wedding | Rachel & Scott in Nashville
Rachel and Scott got married in July at the Conrad Nashville, and I was extra excited that I got to attend and see everything in person! You will see why we had so much fun working with Rachel on her vision as you read through and look at all the photos. Let’s walk through the process, from first proofs to final wedding moments!
Our first step with any couple is to have them fill out a details questionnaire, which captures not just the nitty gritty details like time and date and address, but also the general vibe of the couple, the wedding, and the invitation suite. Most of the time we begin with designing the save the date or invitation suite, and then we use that as a blueprint for all of the day-of wedding items.
When we started on Rachel & Scott’s invitation suite, here’s what they told us:
Nothing too cursivey or hard to read
Incorporating their mauve/cream/light greens color palette
Coordinating colored cards and/or envelopes
Arch or other shapes
We threw together this Pinterest Board with some initial ideas and inspiration:
Our first round of proofs actually ended up being pretty close to the final, with just a few tweaks needed! (we love when that happens)
After those little tweaks and additions (white invitation, names more symmetrical, border or other accent around the edge), here is the final version we landed on:

A full carousel of flatlay photos because it’s just that good. I love the way this turned out.
Once the suite is complete and approved by the couple, we get everything ordered and sent out. Rachel and Scott opted to assemble the suites themselves (we offer it as an add-on service for couples who want it!) so everything was sent directly to them to mail out.
Then it’s on to the next phase: day-of wedding items!
Here is a list of all the items we did for Rachel and Scott’s wedding:
Large Signage (rehearsal dinner welcome sign, wedding welcome sign, wedding directional signage)
Large tented place cards (they wrote thank you notes to each guest inside)
Rehearsal dinner menus (they doubled as place cards— each one had a different guest’s name on it and was used as the seating chart)
Table Assignment cards for the seating chart
Small signage (signature drinks, one for each bar)
You’ll see in the photos below that those all of these items coordinate perfectly with the invitation suite, creating cohesion from start to finish!

Ugh, love. The shades of mauve. The mirror seating chart. The golf signature drinks. Sophisticated and fun at the same time.
Oh…and did I mention that I got to officiate this wedding?! Best day ever.
We love you, Tomasellos! And special thanks to John Myers Photography for capturing everything so beautifully.
